How much is this going to cost me?

Learning to kayak is not expensive when you consider that you're investing in a lifetime sport with no admission fees or lift tickets.  Our 1-day lessons cost $155 per person, while our 5-days cost $570 per person.  Those costs include all the equipment, instruction with a maximum of 4 students to 1 instructor, transportation from our base and a delicious lunch each day.  

If you decide to get more into the sport, you'll want a boat, paddle, helmet, lifejacket, sprayskirt and other gear.  An initial setup usually runs around $1000 or so.  This gear should last you at least 5 years under normal use.  Check out some of the gear at our online store.
