How much gear to I need to get started?

For starters, you'll need a kayak, a paddle, a helmet, sprayskirt and a life jacket.  When you take a class at Zoar Outdoor, we let you use our gear for no charge and with over 75 different models of kayaks in our fleet, you can get a good sense of what boat is right for you so that when you decide to buy one you'll know what to look for.
